Welcome to the MC Bean website, where you can can order charming custom-designed art accessories for your home, garden and life by artist Melissa (MC) Bean.

My work has been featured in many publications, including "Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion", "Midwest Living", "Mpls. St. Paul", "MN Monthly", "Dog World"(Product of the Year award), "Cats & Kittens", "Cat Fancy"and various newspapers. You can see some of my larger scale work at Minneapolis' City Hall and at the Eden Prairie, MN branch of the Hennepin County Library.

For the past nine years I have been doing commercial artwork for individuals and businesses. My jobs have been varied - commercial and residential signage, a state fair booth, magazine illustration (most recently the March, 2002 cover of "Postgraduate Medicine") and people and pet ceramic portrait sculptures. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. I also attended Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine.

You will find me a very creative individual who is easy to work with, has a sense of humor, and is very adept at creating concepts and finished art. I work out of a studio in southeast Minneapolis with complete production and administrative facilities. Please email me with your ideas for artwork. I look forward to working with you.
